Ties to the Land XII : Footprints in Time, Formby Beach

Field Notes

Neolithic footprints left in a layer of clay at Formby Beach near Liverpool, England. Here you can also find prints left from children, aurochs and other wildlife from over 4,000 years ago.  By the time you read this, these have all probably been washed away and new sets of prints revealed from under the sand.
