With a week off work between contracts, I sallied forth in to the Peak District for a walk from Monyash to Alsop and then up Lathkill Dale (I still hurt from that 12mile walk!).  On the way back home I thought I’d do a bit of a reccie of a field I’d heard about that was full of poppies.  Once I found it I was not disappointed, what started as a bit of reccie, became a full blown photography session.

Before the poppy “season” is over, I may venture back if it’s a windy day.
