Ties to the Land XXVI : Roman Bridge over Afon Machno, Betws-y-Coed, North Wales

Field Notes

The closest bridge is marked on Ordnance Survey maps as a Roman Bridge, others suggest that this is actually  17th Century, albeit with Roman origins. The Roman Bridge and the more recent bridge cross Afon Machno, close to an abandoned mill downstream of the village of Penmachno near Betws-y-Coed, North Wales.
