Going through my back catalogues is always a pleasure, as I realise I have forgotten so much of what I have taken in the past.  These four new additions to my Black and White Gallery were taken in 2013 using a Ziess Ikon Nettar.  Its a lovely old film camera, with a bit of quirk, in that I have to guess the distance between myself and the subject and dial it manually, as there is no focusing through the viewfinder. I have heard of people using laser range finders, but that does remove some of the fun I feel.

Three of the photographs were taken on a wintery wander around Barbrook on the Big Moor in the Peak District.  The last one was taken down a side street within the old city walls of Istanbul, not my usual fayre, but the shot pleases me.

This function has been disabled for Alastair Ross Photography - Landscape photography from the Peak District, Outer Hebrides, Lake District and Scotland.
