In my previous blog post, I touched upon the freedom and creativity that walking with a camera in your hand brings about versus keeping it packed away in your rucksac waiting for the right shot to present itself.  On the flipside, there is the time, space and silence that making a long exposure shot brings for me – in much the same way as pinhole used to for me (and maybe it will again in the future).  There is a certain connectedness that sitting waiting for your exposure to complete brings.  A chance to be still and take your surroundsings in more fully than when you are simply taking your shot and moving on.
